Coenzyme Q10 is also known as ubiquinone or ubidecarenone. It is a vitamin-like substance, present within each of the body’s cells. It plays an important role in the body’s energy supply mechanism as it converts fats and sugars into energy. All body cells require a supply of Q10, with the heart and muscle cells having a particularly high demand. CoQ10 levels may decrease with age, and be lower in patients with some chronic diseases.

OmniVegan® Q10 is made with high quality Coenzyme Q10. Lecithin is added as a transport carrier for Q10, as a result ensuring a high uptake in the body. The product also contains vitamin C, which supports the function of Q10.
